Code of Conduct

Our community thrives on mutual respect. Treat all members with kindness and understanding, even when you disagree. Avoid personal attacks, hate speech, or discriminatory remarks of any kind. This is a space for constructive discussions.

2. Stay relevant

Keep your posts and comments focused on topics related to household upkeep, maintenance services, homeownership, rentals, and related issues. Off-topic content may be removed to maintain the platform’s focus.

3. Share accurate information

When offering advice or recommendations, aim to provide accurate, truthful, and helpful information. Misleading or false information can harm others and undermine trust within the community.

4. Promote a safe space

This is a judgment-free zone where people can seek advice or offer help without fear of ridicule. Be supportive and constructive when responding to others’ questions or sharing your own experiences.

5. No unsolicited advertising

While we encourage sharing helpful resources and recommendations, avoid posting unsolicited advertisements or spam. Service providers are welcome to engage respectfully but must adhere to the platform’s guidelines on promotional content.

6. Protect privacy

Respect the privacy of others by not sharing personal information (e.g., addresses, phone numbers, or financial details) without consent. For your own safety, be cautious about the details you disclose.

7. Report issues

If you come across content or behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please use the "Flag Content" or "Report an Issue" feature to bring it to our attention. Our team will review and address the matter promptly.

8. Follow legal and ethical standards

Do not use the platform for illegal activities or to promote unethical practices. This includes offering or seeking unlicensed services, fraud, or other activities that violate local laws.

9. Help us improve

We’re always looking for ways to make MyHouse better. If you have suggestions, feedback, or notice areas where the community can improve, feel free to share your thoughts with us.

Consequences of Violations

Members who violate this Code of Conduct may face actions including:

  • Content removal

  • Temporary suspension

  • Permanent ban from the platform

We reserve the right to enforce these rules to maintain a positive experience for all members.

By participating in MyHouse, you agree to uphold these principles and contribute to a thriving, respectful, and helpful community. Together, we can make home maintenance, ownership, and renting less daunting and more collaborative.
